To Our Customers and Clients:
So much has changed for all of us over the past week. The staff at ERA Turks and Caicos Real Estate send our sincerest hopes that you and your families are safe and healthy during this global pandemic.
The Turks and Caicos has just reported its first confirmed case of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) and our Government is taking all precautions to stop any spread. As of tomorrow Thursday, 26th 2020 the country will be closing all ports of entry except for essential goods and supplies as a precautionary mandatory island wide quarantine for a period of 21 days.
Hotels, resorts and many small businesses have already begun closing their doors, [while many restaurants remain open for delivery and takeout service_*See update to this concession below]. Grocery stores, hardware stores, pharmacies and essential businesses are remaining open for limited afternoon curfew hours while observing social distancing practices and procedures.
ERA Turks and Caicos Real Estate has decided to temporarily close our physical office, effective Friday, March 27th. Please know that we are still working while employing online technologies and our brokers, agents and associates are available to support our clients during this time. Our main priority is serving the needs of our customers and employees, while continuing uninterrupted operations.
This event is unprecedented, and navigating this crisis is hard on everyone, and we are doing our best in these uncertain times. If history is any indication, challenges always bring out the best in all of us. Let’s keep it that way.
We at ERA Turks and Caicos Real Estate take the trust you’ve placed in us very seriously. Please stay safe—and know that, as we tackle this challenge together, we’re as dedicated as ever to serving you and your real estate needs.

“We took a big decision on Restaurants and Takeaways and they will not be permitted to open, yet. We need to understand both the spread of the virus over the next few days and the amount of footfall on the streets and roads during this period before we make decisions. The Police have issued their own release on this. If you identify a Takeaway is open, then please dial 911. They will have lost their chance, instantly, to be considered when we review later.”
